Sympathies and antipathies

Cats are always considered one of the most gentle and caring mothers, ready to protect their kittens at any moment from even the most dangerous enemies. This habit works even when the kittens are rather grown-up.

It often happens that maternal care is spread not only on cat's own kittens. In case of absence of neighbouring mother a cat takes orphans to its own home.

Besides, it occurs that cat starts to take care for more adult cats and forgets about its own kittens. In this situation the owner should intervene in it and divide the two families. This mom should be diverted from other's kittens or drawn to its own ones.

Many cats are beginning to avoid their kittens as they grow older. Sometimes it can lead to negative attitude and even hatred, while the grown kitten is often good-natured and endearing to its mother.
